How to install T-Lock Bolt on TekSpan modular steel frames
The unique T-lock bolt is at the core of the TekSpan system
The T-lock bolt is an M12 bolt that can be fitted rapidly with the aid of a torque wrench or impact driver and is constructed of 10.9 high-grade steel with a shear strength of up to 10kN.
TekSpan T-lock bolts are specifically engineered to offer a quality assured, fast and safe way to fix components onto the TekSpan modular steel frame system.
The stepless slot design, made possible by the T-lock bolt, is one of the distinguishing characteristics of the TekSpan system.
When using the TekSpan system day to day, this enables contractors to level up and make modifications to frames very simply. TekSpan frames are significantly faster to build and level than screw-based systems thanks to the unique T-lock design.

Variations of the T-Lock bolt
T-Lock bolt with castle washer
10.9 grade high tensile t-bolt that locks securely in place, and joins frames and components together in an easy-to-adjust, permanent fixture. Locating collar maintains alignment, while teeth on t-head of bolt “bite” into frame, for an exceptionally secure fixing.
T-Lock bolt with steel disc
For applications such as connecting standard Unistrut channel to TekSpan, the T-Lock bolt with steel disc washer is recommended. This uses the same T-Lock bolt but with a heavy duty steel washer to avoid impacting lighter weight components that are being connected.
